Dr Richard W. Frank is the principal investigator for the Human Trafficking Indicators dataset. He is currently a Lecturer at The Australian National University. Prior to this, he was an assistant professor of political science at the University of New Orleans and a research fellow at the University of Sydney. Dr. Frank’s research focuses on the transnational dynamics of human trafficking, the domestic effects of international non-state actors, the causes of civil conflict, and electoral violence.
Dr. Frank received his PhD. from Binghamton University in 2009. His work has appeared in the Journal of Democracy, Journal of Peace Research, the Journal of Democracy, Conflict Management and Peace Science, and International Interactions. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses on civil and international conflict, foreign policy, international relations, international organizations, the politics of development, and political methodology.
